Chiropractic Therapy Medical Assistant - Now Hiring
Position Description:
The Chiropractic Therapy Assistant performs chiropractic modalities as prescribed by, and under the supervision of, the Doctor of Chiropractic.
This position requires skills in performing therapeutic modalities such as heat packs, cold packs, ultrasound, electrostimulation, cold laser, and traction.
This position also requires the taking of X-rays.
The Chiropractic Therapy Assistant must be organized, approachable, friendly, and able to multitask, working with multiple patients at a time.
This is an onsite clinical support position, with occasional travel in between clinic locations as necessary, and no remote work option.
Position Duties:
Escorts patients to the therapy roomAdministers Chiropractic Modalities under the Chiropractors' directive.
Follows appropriate clinical protocols.
Administers modalities for which the Chiropractic Therapy Assistant has been properly trained and screened.
Takes X-raysDocument therapies completed for the Doctor of ChiropracticAssists in gathering Net Promoter Score participation from the patients.

Position Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalentBasic computer skillsX-Ray Radiation Safety Training (Company will provide training)Position Miscellaneous:
Hourly (Non-Exempt)Must be able to travel to other AICA clinics as needed within a specific zone.
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Demands:
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; manipulation of documents; typing on the keyboard; limited lifting from floor to overhead of less than 1O pounds; some stooping and bending.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
