ABOUT THE JOB:
The role of the Inventory Analyst for the Computer Department for Harvey Norman is to manage the department's stock and limit risk while maximising both sales and profit.
You will be responsible for forecasting, maintaining optimum stock levels for all products in the department, as well as oversight of the replenishment process, ensuring your alignment to the overall business plan in order to achieve agreed KPI's.
This is an on site role and the applicant must be available to attend work at the stated location.
YOUR JOB - your tasks will include:
Stock Management In conjunction with the buying team, help forecast short and medium-term stock requirements at product level to ensure optimum stock availability - whilst minimising exposure.
Develop over time a clear understanding of each category within the division, supply chain dynamics, lead times, category strategies and future requirements.
Help build forecasting tools in Excel which can be refined over time to streamline stock forecasting and improve accuracy.
Running, analysing and processing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly replenishment Liaising with suppliers to ensure availability of stock before orders are raised Working with buying teams to understand the product life cycle, removing lines from SAP replenishment as they approach the end of their life Regularly reviewing replenishment settings with the Buying Team and Stores and amending as required Managing the outstanding order process, ensuring a clean and up to date order book Reviewing and managing adhoc store stock requests Ensuring that core lines are always in stock without being over-stocked Working with the team to ensure accurate Master Data Management Participating in technical investigations when errors occur in order to improve data reliability Reporting Preparing weekly and monthly sales, margin and stock reports and be able to understand and contribute to discussions about same Learn all systems and over time become a super-user of internal Excel-based and SAP reporting systems, helping to develop and improving the existing suite of reports to achieve better data accessibility YOUR PROFILE - your knowledge, skills and experience include:
Qualifications 3rd level degree in Supply Chain Management Experience 3 years previous experience in a retail and/or supply chain role is essential Proficient in Microsoft packages with advanced MS Excel knowledge (essential) Experience of using SAP Skills Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to process and use large volumes of data, and to present them in a confident and accessible manner Strong numerical, logical and problem-solving abilities You must be a strong team player with the ability to work with colleagues, managers and stores and adopt a flexible approach in order to achieve objectives You need to be able to influence others in order to help to move the change process forward You must be able to manage your time, to prioritise and meet deadlines Commercial awareness Understanding of the market place and awareness of competitor activity Why people join us:

This is a permanent contract subject to a 6 month probationary period.
An immediate start would be desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day in Dublin City Centre.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
